TLS local Panamanian and African-American laborers using machetes to cut through jungle growth. MS/MCUs black laborer spraying pesticide on vegetation near stream, industrial pump-action sprayer strapped to his back-- killing disease-carrying mosquitoes & insects. TLS three Caucasian men (scientists or engineers) wading in marsh, apparently working experiment. Fantastic aerial shots of the Panama Canal still under construction; sailing steamship on windy conduit, base camps on shore; one should note the significance of this early aerial shot.
