These small boats made of cowhide over a wicker frame were used by the ancient Britons 2,000 years ago. He puts the boat on the river, gets in and pushes off. He paddles along and picks up another man with a fishing rod further along the bank. Shots of the men fishing for trout from the boat. A fish is brought in with a net. M/S of several fish with a rod and basket on the river bank. The two men move rapidly down the river in the coracle. | |
