Various shots of cricketer Maurice Tate bowling and cricketer Peter Smith batting on field. LS Smith at the nets returns the ball to Tate. MLS Tate picks up the ball and walks back to bowl again. MS Smith prepares to bat. MCS. Tate bowling. MS Smith strikes the ball and notices the bat crack - he taps the end of it on the grass. Peter Smith stops bowling when his bat splits. , CS.
