| Description: | CRYSTAL TREES Yet another arts & crafts idea from Eve Pics- -making decorative "trees" from wire, wax, crepe paper, etc. United Kingdom ECU of finished product - -actually looks like an intricate glass ornament. CU woman holds up some of the necessary items- -sticks of sealing wax, a bottle of Methylated Spirit, some sparkly gauzy material; on table also in picture are paper, a roll of wire, a spirit lamp. Fade to CU woman's hands (wearing rubber gloves) twist wire into loop; she makes a leaf shape on a stick, cuts it off. MCU woman brushes paste onto strip of crepe paper, starts to wrap paper around wire. CU she trims paper w/ scissors. CU holds up 3 leaves made of crepe paper over the wire frames. Next she heats stick of wax over spirit lamp, gets wax onto leaves; she then heats a knife and scrapes over leaf w/ it to make wax shinier. Cut to CU of woman assembling several of these leaves & stems. MCU completed tree on twisting trunk. MCU more examples. CU tree. | |
