| Description: | SHUT DOWN PLANT example of loss of work power (15:22), OXEN PULLING PLOW (17:02), Old Factory (18:40) 00:15:21:- wide and tight LS's of an old Havana Club (?) rum factory, taken from several angles and vantage points. Good industrail material. Parts of the plant are rusted and decrepit while others seem to be in fairly good condition as if still in use for one reason or another. Cut to wide and tight LS's of the new rum distillery, set at the base of some gentle hills and gorgeous landscape. 00:17:19:- nice tight LS of an older, shirtless man directing two large oxen yoked to a plow. Wide LS of the man and oxen tilling a green field. Tight LS of the shirtless man stopped in the field and talking to several male farmers (his employees? members of the family?). 00:18:39:- tight LS of an old, seemingly inactive factory. Looks like a steel mill. CU of smoke trickling from a smokestack. Tight LS of a main alley of the plant, then shots of other sections. | |
