CU man smoking a pipe whilst simultaneously holding to his receding hairline a rubber cup attached to a tube. Harry Billenness (Billenes?) MCU another man sits at a dressing table looking at a magazine while he too holds this thing to his head and pulls a handle on a hydraulic machine back and forth. CU the magazine. MLS a rather small room crowded with men most of whom are using this machine on themselves; another man seems to be about to hook one up, and a man in a barber's coat is rubbing oil on another man's head. MCS of this guy, the inventor of the method and of the machine, Mr. Tony Voitechovsky, rubbing oil onto bald man's head; on the wall there are several "Before and After" pictures (labeled 1954 and 1955) of men who have some fuzzy hair where formerly they had a bald spot. He places bottle and pad down on table. XCU off/on switch and a little meter on machine; he switches it on. MCU Mr. Voitechovsky picks up suction pad and places it on man's bald patch. CS. Holding suction pad on his head and moving it in various positions. CUs of Mr. Voitechovsky's face as he uses machine on customer/ CU the glass-topped suction cup held on the man's head. MCS. Mr. Voitechovsky removes the suction pad and applies more oil to the scalp. MS Pipe smoker puts his suction pad down takes mirror out of his pocket and examines his new growth. CU same CU Another man holding suction pad to his head and pumping the lever with other hand. & CS. MS Mr. Voitechovsky adjusts lamp over man's head. Man stops pumping and leans back in his chair. MCS. Mr. Voitechovsky examining his scalp with magnifying glass. Camera looking at new growth through magnifying glass. Mr. Voitechovsky removes the glass and rubs the hair with his hand. MCU man holding the suction thing on his head; pan down to show his foot pressing a pedal to operate his machine, while dog lies beside him. CU pipe man still using suction machine. | |
