MS Ship's captain on bridge two Customs officers one in uniform one in civvies come into picture. The one in civvies shakes hands with the captain. The captain hands to this officer a sheet of paper which he starts to unfold. CU Custom's officer examining the papers. CU The captain. MS The custom's officer shakes hands with the captain and the two customs officers walk out of picture. MS A piece of cheese being cut into two. The two halves of cheese are pulled apart and a Custom's officer inspects it. LS Slow pan round a yard full of wine vats. A customs officer is examining them in the foreground. MS Customs officer is examining them in the foreground. MS Customs officer chalking a number on one of the barrels he picks up a gauge and measures the front of the barrel. He chalks a mark on the barrel and looks at the gauge. MS Officer examining gauge. He starts to bend down towards barrel. CU Custom's officer chalks on the barrel. CU Officer walks out of picture a uniformed customs officer comes in and places a pipette into one of the barrels and starts to withdraw the pipette. CU Pipette with liquid pouring into tumbler the pipette is withdrawn and a weight or balance is put into it. LS Barrels of wine. MS Barrels of whiskey pan slowly round to show a man hammering at a barrel. A white coated customs official starts to place a measurer into the barrel. CU The measurer going into the barrel. It is withdrawn and taken out of picture. MS Another Custom's official dips a pipette into the barrel. CU The pipette being withdrawn and placed into a tumbler which starts to fill. CU Custom's official holding top of pipette he walks out of picture with tumbler. MS Man places this tumbler on the desk by another one a white coated official is in the background the official removes a couple of weights from one tumbler. CU The weights or balances being placed into the other tumbler. CU The white coated official examines tubes of liquid. Examiner opens a drain in the floor. The barrels are emptied into the drain. Shots of a large vat, the liquid goes through the drain & into the vat to be mixed with water. Liquid pouring through troughs. Women bottling the whiskey.
