| Description: | Cyprus Riots: Daily Deaths Mark Island Insurrection As rioting becomes daily more widespread on Cyprus young people of high school age take increasing part in the violence. A group of girls are being disbursed after a rock throwing battle with the military police. Only after the use of tear gas is the demonstration broken up. Soldiers carrying plastic shields against stones peruse the demonstrators. The military police are also face with keeping the peace with the Turkish and Greek fraction each of each is seeking union of the island with it’s own country. This strategic island continues to be daily violence and bloodshed. Establishing shot - Throngs of teenagers in the streets of Cyprus. MBS - A group of teenage boys walking down the street. MS - A group of girls throwing rocks at military police. MS - Tear gas smoking in the street. MCUS - Greek soldiers running towards the crowd of teenagers. MS - A British army truck which was bombed.
