| Description: | DADDY LONGLEGS Large tractor is used to fell and transport trees. MLS shot looking between 2 evergreen trees in FG at big tractor driving by, pulling behind it a machine also mounted on caterpillar treads - a big steel frame of beams which spread apart to arch-shaped opening at the back end ; this thing in turn is dragging behind it a huge felled pine tree. MS logger up on a tree trunk, attached w/ belt & ropes; he starts to climb down. LS the caterpillar tractor drives to left w/ jerking movements. LS tilt up: tall tree starts to sway around a bit--looks almost as if it's going to fall on the camera. LS tractor driving straight toward cam, in BG can see the big tree being pulled down. MLS trunk of tree falling over, roots torn out. LS tractor, stopped; driver looks back through forest where dust is rising from the fallen tree. MLS tractor pulling the "Daddy Longlegs" ; sawed off tree trunk is hanging from top of the steel arch in back of the thing. MS view from other side of the D.L.L. dragging tree.
