Chorus girls from "Frisco Frolics" dance on the promenade at Brighton - a bit of slapstick stuff. Girls wear many-ruffled can-can type skirts. They are dancing on a flat paved (?) area inside a fence, w/ a row of changing huts, like little houses up on big wagon wheels, on the sand in BG. Next the girls form a kickline, and a man joins them. He dances in front, doing an approximation of the same kicks as the line behind him. More of this with the guy being sort of chased by rotating kickline, etc. Then cut to another scene, w/ the dancers all posing on steps at entrance to a building. The man comes walking along and the women all grab him and drag him inside. Closer shot of same: girls all laughing, pulling his ears and his hair; the man struggling but smiling. | |
