Hi ang MLS part of crowd; men waving hats; in BG a large flower-framed portrait of the former Premier Eleutherios Venizelos , can be seen over heads of crowd. High ang LS crowd swarming around an open automobile w/ a different large painting of the former Premier propped up in the back seat. Ground level shots of the other demo with marchers protesting the exile of King George II, they are stopped in street by several armed soldiers; crowd shouting at the guards . VS show tension building; more shouting; in FG a soldier directs 2 women who are walking past to keep away. Angry crowd surging forward. Mob running down street. HI ang shot many people running out of the street to the sides to avoid mounted police breaking up the brawl. Another shot of police riding down street; crowd much smaller now; several horses fall down but scramble to their feet again (apparently slipping on something?). | |
