GV Interior of Mrs Wilson behind bar, her patrons drink and smoke. SV Man playing darts. LV Mr Wilson at bar with dog. CU Wireless / radio with a Champaign glass in front of it. GV of Mrs Wilson dressed in sparkly cocktail dress and horn rimmed glasses falling asleep behind the bar, her husband wakes her, she pours a customer a drink (nice bar shot). SV Couple drinking. Back view of Mr Wilson ringing a bell for last call. SV as Mr Wilson puts bell down and comforts his wife who is nearly asleep again. GV exterior as last customer leaves pub and closes the door. LS The pub at night, the bar lights go out. GV Churchyard with gravestone and church silhouetted. LV The Church. GV The graveyard. GV Moon shining through trees. LV Memorial to Amersham martyrs. CU inscription: William Tylsworth burned 1506, Joan Clark his married daughter was compelled to light the faggots to burn her father. GV The pub. MS Black cat on the porch. LV Shadows moving. CU Latch on attic door unlocking and the door opening. CU Candle blows out. SV Cobwebs. SV Pan old items scattered about the attic. LV Brass plate wall decoration moving by itself in the hallway. CU as plate falls off the wall. GV bedroom where Mr and Mrs Wilson are asleep, Mrs. Wilson awakes and sits up in bed with fright. MS as Mrs Wilson wakes her husband, they both sit up in bed. GV as they both duck under the covers. CU key in cellar door turning, the door opens and no one is there. MS beer barrels in the cellar. CU tap on barrel as it turns on by itself. LV Beer running from barrels onto floor. Exterior GV as Mrs Molly Moncrieff the spiritual medium arrives at the pub. MS as Mr Wilson opens the door and invites her in. GV interior of Mrs Wilson, Mrs Moncrieff and Mr Wilson seated at table ready for a séance. Mrs Moncrieff says: 'Well I looked downstairs Mr Wilson and I discovered that your ghost is not one of the martyrs, it was the jailer, he had the keys, he gives me the impression of a monk he wears a long robe and a hood. Now I'll try to get in touch for you'. MS as Mrs Moncrieff starts breathing deeply goes into a trance. She says talking to the ghost: 'Your name is Alden, put your keys on the table go on put them on the table you don't need those any more times gone by hundreds of years your jobs done. That's it. Go away now go on you're a spirit now go away. CU Mrs. Wilson with her blond hair, horn rimmed glasses and dimpled chin. MS the medium breathing heavily and saying 'Yes'. She then starts to come out of the trance and says: 'Yes that's all right now Mr Wilson I don't think you'll be bothered any more he's gone'. GV everyone around the table, Mr Wilson shakes hands with the medium. CU as the cellar door opens on its own. | |
