| Description: | Shaky, blurry and dull in contrast and imagery Dame fashion goes all out for charity, as the 1949 March of Dimes Fashion Show is presented to an enthusiastic audience at the Waldorf. Stage and screen personalities. Including Irene Rich and Bea Lillie, lend their talents to help swell the Polio Fund. The first dress we see is a strapless soft taffeta evening gown with a shall make out of same material. A beautiful contemporary dress that can be worn in the year of 2003. The following dress is either a navy blue or gray dress with straps. Semi strapless adorned by a ribbon around the neck and gloves past the elbows. This next dress can either be blue, pink or gray with a plunging neckline and a diamond necklace. The next model is wearing a hounds tooth coat touched off by a Barrie. A black evening gown is worn with a 3/4 in sleeve the dress also has a lace top with a rose on the waist band the model carries a purse and lighter 3/4 in gloves as a accessories. The classic maids uniform is next. White hat, apron and the hemline is to the floor and a big white bow ties up the white organza apron with a maids hat adorning the outfit. As the camera pulls away other models are modeling on the cat walk. | |
