Panning shot of Bessie, a black dog owned by Miss Nevison. Camera follows her as she runs to the tree and with a leap and steps up the slanting trunk. The dog stands a little ways up the tree, watching the road, wagging her tail then turning to look back. After a short while, Bessie keeps on climbing higher. CU the dog way up in the tree, a strange sight. C/U of Boxer dog looking up with questioning or expectant expression. Back to Bessie in the tree - she climbs even higher. Zoom in on dog in all these great twisting branches. Bessie climbs down the tree at a run. She runs into the house. CU black and white cat sitting on window ledge.
