| Description: | DON FRANCISCO Don Francisco performs tricks on a wire above the ground. Don Francisco wizard of the wire. London. M/S of Don Francisco dressed in top hat and tails, he is pretending to be drunk. His assistant gives him a leg up and he hangs onto the wire, he flips right over and dangles over balancing on his stomach. He kneels then stands up and wobbles about before trying to takes steps. The whole wire shakes violently as he walks along. He takes his hat off then walks forwards and backwards waving his handkerchief. He kneels and dangles the handkerchief over the side of the wire, it drops to the floor and he tries again, this time he manages to bend over and grab the handkerchief with his mouth. M/S as he walks along then runs about, the wire swings wider and wider. He eventually jumps off and takes a bow. This is a slack wire act. It is more dangerous than high wire because it is easier to fall off & break your neck. | |
