| Description: | As hurricane "Dora" blows herself out with a last flounce, the people of Florida and Georgia were tallying more than $200,000,000 in damages. President Johnson flies down from Washington to make a personal inspection of the damage from Jacksonville Beach, Florida, to San Simon Island, Georgia. He has promised government aid as he declares the devastated sections disaster areas. People walking by the beach in spite of the horrific winds they have to endure just to get around. Palm trees their branches are going sideways due to the wind. Man walks up to a house, opens the front door and there's nothing there. Its all gone. A house that was picked up and blown around ending up on its side, small group of neighbors looking at the damage. A home that was facing the ocean lifted off its foundation. Aerial shot - Beaches no longer exist due to the erosion brought on by the storm. A home where the roof of it was completely lifted up and blown down into the home itself.
