Shot of pedestrians walking in front of a shoe store. Neon sign outside the store simply reads "Shoes". Shot of two African-American women walking toward the camera. These two are sporting the true 1970's fashion style. Both women have a full afro hairstyle. One woman wears a full length dress that looks like a bathing suit on the top half and a straight skirt on the bottom. The other woman wears a light spring jacket over a shirt with a butterfly collar. She is also wearing shorts with orange knee-high socks. There is also a Caucasian man in the scene, but he is upstage by the women. Shot of an elderly Caucasian woman in a bright yellow dress walking toward the camera. Her walk is slow, she is approached by a female reporter. The reporter asks the lady "What brings you out on a Holiday". (Its Memorial Day Weekend) She answers that she was out looking for a pair of shoes. She thought the stores would be empty but, "Oh Brother". Reporter interviews a fashionable African-American woman. Reporter interviews a middle-aged Caucasian man who states he is shopping because its his only day off. Interview with an overweight Caucasian woman who has long brown hair. She states that she came downtown because her son needed a pair of shoes. She goes on to tell the reporter that there has been a death in her family and she has to go out-of-town. The camera then focuses on her son. The boy is an adorable curly haired toddler. He holds on to his mother's hand and pays little attention to the camera crew.
