The flag is removed, revealing the memorial to John Travers Cornwell, the men in the crowd remove their hats. M/S of a man wearing a mayoral chain giving a speech in front of the memorial. M/S of wreaths being laid on the memorial by the mayor and Dr. M. C/U of a boy standing in front of the memorial. C/U of Dr. M. talking with people in the crowd. C/U of the crowd, including the woman with the baby, Dr. M shakes someone's hand. C/U of the memorial - writing engraved on it reveals that it was erected by pupils and ex-pupils from schools in East Ham and that Jack was only 16 when he died.
