Flag barer with armed escort marches down the stairs of the Officers' Mess, Portsmouth Naval Barracks. He carries Color which resides in the Mess to be used at their display at Olympia. Another officer approaches and takes the flag. Color is handed over at training grounds to the head of uniformed men lined up at the polygon. Various shots of the march past, and good shots of the barracks buildings behind the men.
