| Description: | DRUM DANCE Boscoe Holder's troupe perform Caribbean dancing and drumming at The Cote d'Azure Club. Boscoe Holder's Dance Troupe perform Afro-Caribbean Drum Dance at Cote D'Azure Club, London. CU African man's hands playing drum; pan up to man's face; he is also singing. MLS dance troupe on small stage: the drummer sits playing large drum, while 4 dancers (3 female, 1 male) do a wild dance around him. The man is particularly good. I think all of the troupe are supposed to be West Indian, though 2 of the women are very light skinned, these 2 started out holding up trays of flowers or fruit, but they soon kneel at the back and sway around while the other pair dance in front. Cuts between GV of stage, CUs of dancers or drummer, and CUs audience members nodding along with the fast beat. After a while the 2 women at the back pick up trays of flowers or fruit and dance around then all the women go dancing offstage. The male dancer dances around the drummer some more, then exits. Finally drummer exits too. | |
