CU He shakes hands with Harold Abrahams. LS Platform, as Duke speaks. (2 shots). LS Small crowd listens. LS Relay runner Bobby Scholes runs up to the platform to hand over a Loyal Message of Greeting. Various shots, as the Duke leaves the platform and looks at young athletes training on the field including pole-vaulting. Further shots of Duke watching javelin throwers, female discus throwers, high jumping and putting-the-shot. Finally Duke fires starting pistol to start the cross-country run.
