| Description: | 'NOW Pathe Pictorial has pleasure in presenting - EDDIE KELLAND & CONNIE RAYMOND the well-known West-End Entertainers in a novelty Song and Dance'. London. Various shots of Eddie Kelland (in white tie and tails) and Connie Raymond (in fur-trimmed evening gown) sitting at a grand piano - the top is so shiny we can see their reflection in it. They sing a song called 'You Gotta Practice What You Preach' - a light-hearted ditty about commitment! - with Connie playing the piano. It starts off at quite a moderate tempo, then gets faster, and Eddie leaps on top of the piano to do a good tap dance routine (looks like there is a protective board on the piano for this bit). Great shots of Eddie dancing up there while Connie plays the piano - this is a good one! Wonderful art deco background. | |
