Demonstration of a new formula of foam rubber or such compound designed to show its cushioning properties. MS A smashed egg on the floor. Quick shot of a guy cleaning it up. LS Eggs being dropped from a window of a sky-scraper onto rubber below. LS Overhead view of man leaning out of window dropping egg onto ground far below. Cam follows its descent and it bounces! Man picks up the intact egg and holds it up. Shots looking down onto ruber mats from the window - over the man throwing the eggs. Ping Pong table with rubber surface. Two men play ping pong with eggs and rubber paddles. CU paddles near table, egg. The eggs keep breaking. Back to the building where eggs are thrown from a window. A couple more breaks before a successful bounce - guy grabs the eggs, holds it up and then drops it to break it and prove it's a real egg. Back to the ping pong. Players are finally getting the hang of it and apparently having a good time. They hit their 'referee' (who keeps handing them eggs) with an egg and laugh. Also some frustration getting a volley going. . A couple good volleys, a few broken eggs. Cu paddle with egg hitting it. | |
