C/U of dictionary entry for 'energy'. Brief animated diagram illustrates the energy present in every atom. A shot of the sun. Quick shots of a coal mine. The striped pyjama man drinks some beer and with the extra energy does his daily dozen in speeded up footage. Animated diagrams illustrate the fact that the sun produces lots of energy but wastes it; bearded 'Waste Inspector' points and croaks "You're wasting energy!". More animation shows that in a small area of the desert, enough energy is wasted to give the whole of Great Britain solar power. C/U of electricity bill. We then see several shots of an attractive blonde in a short white dress firing a bow and arrow - this creates energy. Girl in a swimsuit takes a photograph of another girl asleep in a deck chair (studio); developed photo is just of her legs. Demonstration of light energy stored in a photo. Quick shots of airplanes in flight, man drilling in coal mine, wrestling match. In the studio a Winshurst (?) machine is wound to produce electric charge. C/U of someone's finger touching the metal coated tip and getting an electric shock (Leyden jar, static electricity). The blonde stands on a glass stool (C/U of great wedge shoes) and is given electric energy through her finger from the machine. She then kisses a man and he jumps away when he gets an electric shock.
