| Description: | All Scots are a wee bit prouder than ever as a great new suspension bridge is opened over the Firth of Forth by the Queen. It brings to fruition the dream of decades as the long bridge begins to funnel traffic to and from Edinburgh. A brand new suspension bridge spanning across the water-way. POV - From the top of the bridge looking down you see the first set of cars crossing it. Part of the suspension bridge blanketed by fog. Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh disembark from their limousine. The Queen and the Duke are at the base of the bridge, camera pans to a plaque, 'The Forth Road Bridge'. Cameramen recording this big event. The Queen's car is the first to cross over the fog covered bridge. Standing beyond the base of the bridge your looking at the bridge and then it slowly disappears into the fog. Aerial shot - Looking down at the long suspension bridge. | |
