Start of the international soccer match between England and Brazil at Wembley stadium. GV The teams coming out, England team nearest camera. GV Crowd. SV Two captains in the center, Jimmy Armfield left and Gylmar right - they shake hands and exchange banners and plaques. SV Crowd. GV England kick off from left to right. Bobby Smith to George Eastham, Eastham moves forward with the ball and passes it back to a colleague who passes the ball out to Bobby Charlton, he passes to Gordon Milne, Milne passes to Eastham. Eastham flicks it forward, Milne chases it. The ball goes to Smith who passes to Milne. Milne shoots and Gylmar saves - near miss. SV Crowd. GV England attacking. Bryan Douglas with the ball. He passes to Jimmy Armfield who has come up field. Armfield crosses the ball and Gylmar cuts the ball off. CU Man in crowd wearing cap and sunglasses. GV Brazil on the attack. Amarildo with the ball, he is tackled by Eastham, loses the ball but he chases after it and manages to pass to Pepe. SV Pepe with the ball. SV Pepe in possession as he beats the full back. SV Pepe crosses the ball, but is intercepted by Bobby Moore. CU Boy in crowd sucking on a Popsicle. GV Pepe running up to take free kick which he does and the ball enters the goal. GV Brazilian players congratulating each other. CU Boy in crowd resting his head in his hand. GV England on the attack. Jimmy Greaves with the ball. He passes out to Charlton, Charlton centers, the ball is headed out by Rildo. GV The ball having gone to Smith, he shoots and Gylmar pushes the ball round the post. GV Crowd at half time. GV Brazil in possession in midfield. The ball is passed out to Dorval who flicks it on. It is intercepted by an English player and passed out to Ray Wilson. Wilson to Bobby Moore, who brings the ball down, beats Ney and passes to Maurice Norman. Norman clears up field. GV England on the attack on the right, the ball is centered. GV As the ball comes in, Charlton gets his head to it. The ball beats Gylmar but hits the post, bounces out and is cleared by Eduardo. GV The ball going back towards the Brazil goal. Gylmar is beaten, but the ball is headed off the line and finally cleared by Zequinha. GV Brazil on the attack, Pepe with the ball. He pushes the ball into a space. Zequinha runs onto it, shoots and Gordon Banks saves. CU Woman in crowd looking very serious as she hides behind her dark sunglasses. GV Brazil taking corner on left, the ball comes in towards goal. SV The ball comes towards camera, Moore heads it away. GV Ball having gone to a Brazil player, he passes it to Pepe who tries a long shot. Gordon Banks saves easily, he throws the ball out. GV Moore with the ball. He kicks up field, but a Brazilian player blocks the ball. Moore regains possession. He puts the ball across the goal, it is punched out by Gylmar. The ball goes out to Armfield who fires it back towards goal. SV The goal area as the ball comes in from Armfield. Douglas gets a foot on it, falls over and manages to stab the ball into the net for England's equalizer. GV Players clustered around Douglas. SV Crowd cheering wildly. GV England attacking. Charlton centers the ball, England player shoots at goal. Gylmar sticks out a foot and clears the ball but the whistle is blowing for the end of the game. Camera pans to referee Leo Horne of Holland and then back to players shaking hands. Final score 1-1. | |
