Various shots of the process she goes through to prepare the sketch for etching on a plate. A metal plate is treated with chemicals. She uses smoke to darken the plate. The artist then draws the sketch on the treated plate. The plate is then put into an acid bath. She then puts on a varnish to stop the acid. She repeats this several times until the lines are etched. Then she removes the varnish. The plate is inked for printing. Various shots of the process, proof is taken on hand roller. Mr Pomeroy and Mr Evans inspect it. C/U of the finished etching. | |
