| Description: | EVE AND THE ORANGE HARVEST Men and women work together in South Africa packing oranges. South Africa LS workers (both African and white men) dumping bags of oranges into crates; others in BG up on ladders picking oranges. WS railroad flatcars carrying crates of oranges move slowly on track, pushed by engine; a few workers running here and there, another train going by in BG. LS looking down at tracks where a few African men are loading small crates from the big train cars onto a narrow track or conveyor belt. WS pan on interior large warehouse with conveyor belts, etc. Most of the workers in here are white women. MS women working quickly, individually wrapping oranges & packing them into crates. Shot looking along exterior of the building: black men come out of different doorways pushing handcarts stacked with crates; pan a few yards left to where they leave the stacked crates on platform beside boxcars. | |
