Mayris Chaney and Edward Fox in "The Dance Divine", at the Alhambra, London. Fox & Chaney dressed as bride and groom run onstage (or onto the dance floor) as if departing after their wedding. She turns back and throws her bouquet, they remove top hat and veil, and begin a romantic dance w/some ballet-like movements. They dance around the floor, and their movements become wilder and wilder. She spins around w/her full ruffled skirt twirling around her. They start incorporating acrobatics into the dance-she does walkovers, leaps in which he catches her, etc. and for the grand finale he spins around while holding her in a backbend over one arm. | |
