Man looking at sausages which are hung up. SCU. Stand reading - 'Margarine or Butter - Test Your Taste'. Pan down to lady trying to tell difference between two which are spread on biscuits. CU. Pan, lady picks up biscuit and tastes it. SV. Girl on fruit stand giving away ten pound of apples to elderly lady. Pan, lady walks away with the apples - a friend takes them from her. LV. Girl walks up to sandwich dispensing machine. CU. Fork is pushed into packed of sandwiches which are lifted up and dropped into a shoot - the girl picks them up. SCU. Rum barrel with word on outside 'The Queen - God Bless Her'. Soldier standing beside it. He lifts lid off and camera pans to note inside which reads 'Sorry No Rum Due to H.M. Customs and Excise'. SCU. Royal Navy stand showing one man's ration in the 16th century. Two-pound piece of salt beef is picked up and the sailor reaches over and picks up a biscuit. CU. Sailor ties to take a bite at the biscuit. It is too hard and man drops it. Biscuit falls to the ground and the sailor jumps on it. CU. Sailor jumps off biscuit and then onto it again, jumps off once more and the biscuit is still intact on the floor! | |
