Description:FASHION FAIR A look at some of the latest fashions on display at the first International Fashion Fair.

The Royal Albert Hall, London.

L/S of a model dressed in a multicoloured swimsuit and matching hooded cloak walking onto the stage at the first International Fashion Fair. M/S of the model as she removes the cloak to reveal the strapless swimsuit beneath. The ensemble is of Swiss design and the hood of the cloak has two bunny ears protruding from the top. The model turns and exits. M/S of two women in the audience. M/S of a model wearing an "English designed" black and yellow skirt and a yellow blouse. The model removes the skirt to reveal yellow hot pants. C/U of the model unfastening the skirt, tilt down to reveal her bare legs. According to the narrator , "the whole accent of the Fair is on removing the financial stumbling block that prevents most women being as fashionably dressed as their richer counterparts". M/S of the model picking up the skirt and sauntering off stage. M/S of two more women in the audience. L/S of a model walking onto the stage. She is dressed in a black lace basque ("a garment once referred to with a delicate blush yet which is today becoming as glamorous as a woman's outer clothing") and a flouncy red layered skirt. C/U of the model, tilt down to show off the skirt. C/U of the model's stiletto clad feet as she exits. L/S of a model walking onto the stage carrying a cuddly cat. She is wearing a blue blouse and a red patterned skirt with a long split up the middle revealing matching hot pants. The narrator explains this outfit has been designed for sports enthusiasts and is "appropriately called (we suppose) 'Cat's Whiskers'". The model turns at the end of the stage and unbuttons the skirt. She exits elegantly draping the skirt behind her. C/U of women in the audience. C/U of a model wearing a blue velvet hat. Tilt down to reveal the rest of the "cocktail ensemble by designer Macola of Zurich" comprising of a cream lace coat and blue clothes. M/S of the model as she steps to the front of the stage and removes the jacket to reveal a tailored dress beneath, also made from cream guipure with "raised motifs". The model twirls several times before exiting. M/S of a model dressed in a long red and gold evening gown and accompanying cloak by Macola. Low angle shot of the model as she removes the cloak. M/S of the model exiting allowing the cloak to drag along behind her. M/S of the back of a model twirling a floral parasol over her shoulder. The model turns - she is wearing a "gay younger-style dress" in a similar floral pattern. M/S of the model walking up and down the stage twirling her parasol.
