L/S of the aircraft carrier H.M.S. Victorious in the dock as a sailor walks along towards it, other ships are visible in the sea behind it. M/S of a group of young women and some men walking towards the ship, they are greeted by Lieutenant Commander Pierce. The man leading the party is Mr Bill Rodger from Pringle of Scotland, he shakes hands with Pierce. M/S of him saluting to models in the party.
M/S of the party going aboard, two young cadets are stood at each side of the steps. Mr Rodger gives one of the girls a helping hand onto the steps. M/S of everybody climbing up. There are cars and trucks in the background, and some buildings to the left. L/S of H.M.S. Victorious. M/S of a sailor, Gerry Knighton aged 21, painting the lid of a large box. There are other ships in the background. M/S of Peter Clark, the photographer, adjusting the collar of a dark haired model called Brenda Harper as she leans against the rail, he turns round and points upwards, M/S of the super structure he is pointing to, with men working on it. M/S back to Peter and Brenda, she is leaning on the rail with her other hand on her hip. A woman holding a clipboard is stood next to her. Peter backs away and goes to his stills camera, he looks down through the view finder. C/U of Brenda posing and smiling, the camera pans down to her jacket which is a blue brushed mohair boucle with fly-away collar and hip pockets. C/U of Brenda's hand in her pocket. M/S of a blonde model, Shirley Hurst with Leading Airman Malcolm Graham, aged 22 from Banbury. She is adjusting his collar and he turns round and adjusts the modified sailor's collar on her carnation coloured cashmere blouse. M/S profile of Shirley smiling, she has a black and white band in her hair. L/S of an aircraft coming up from below decks on the ship, there are several sailors around it, another aircraft is visible in the background. M/S of several men working on an aircraft, Shirley walks over with Joy Western, they go up to Petty Officer Ronald Swanwick, aged 30 and pose with him in front of the aircraft. Peter Clark comes over and adjusts Shirley's jumper, he then goes out of the frame. Joy is wearing a Shetland pullover with broad blue and white stripes. M/S of the three of them together. C/U of Joy posing with Ronald and stroking his beard.
M/S of Shirley being helped up onto the wing of the plane, she unbuttons the cashmere jacket to show off her pink striped square neck pullover. She poses against the aeroplane and runs her fingers through her hair. L/S of the harbour with H.M.S. Victory in the dock, Brenda walks into the foreground. She poses with her hand in her pocket and her other hand on her head, she is wearing a bright red Shetland sweater with a polo neck. C/U of her face. M/S of Peter Clark focusing the camera, his assistant with the clipboard is in the background, it looks quite windy as everyone's hair is getting blown about. There are other ships in the background. C/U of the camera with his hand pressing the button and taking the picture. L/S of men cleaning part of the ship, the camera moves across to show Joy combing her hair in a huge mirror, normally used to help the planes land. C/U of her image distorted in the mirror, she is wearing a lambs wool sweater with a red and white diamond pattern. M/S as she turns from the mirror and smiles. C/U of her smiling with the mirror in the background, she turns to show her profile. M/S of four sailors wearing tabards with the number 3 on them, arm in arm with the four models, (the fourth one is Anne Grierson not seen in the rest of the story), they walk towards the camera.
