A lady sorts through scraps of material and cuts them into squares, she sews the squares onto a piece of net to make a patchwork waistcoat which she models. M/S's of patchwork gown. The lady then cuts the brim off her hat, she stitches long piece of net onto the back of the crown to make a new hat, then takes the brim, pleats and stitches it then adds some more netting. M/S as she models this hat, showing two serviceable hats can be made from one old one. (make do and mend) | |
