M/S of interior of a posh restaurant at London Airport; people are sitting at three tables and the women are fashionably dressed. A waiter enters to serve some food. In the background we can see the runway and planes. C/U of a middle-aged couple sitting by the window who take a drink and look out at the runway. M/Ss of an 'Air France' plane on the runway; there is snow on the ground and people are walking from the plane. M/S in the restaurant and C/U of bacon, egg and tomato being served onto a plate. The commentator says "Outside...it might be bitterly cold and depressing, and yet in a few hours by jet the traveller can be basking in the sunshine of, say, North Africa..." C/U of an exotic looking spiced pie on a plate on a table. We see people taking chunks of it with their fingers while wine is being poured into a glass. The commentator tells us we are now in Morocco, at the coastal resort of Fedala. M/S of a couple sitting at a low table in a room with traditional Moroccan decor. The couple have their hands rinsed by a servant, then C/U of the woman as the servant shakes rose water onto her hands from a silver decanter. M/S on a golf course lined with palm trees as two golfers with caddies walk along. One of the men bends down to place a ball on the green, then M/S as he hits the ball. M/Ss of a young girl, Gaye (Gay) Ashwood, on a horse, riding through a grove of palm trees and meeting up with a man on horseback. They ride along together past a hotel, then L/S of them riding along a beautiful deserted beach with a row of striped beach tents in the foreground. Two brief M/Ss of them riding along at the edge of the water. M/S in 'El Minzeh' (restaurant? or hotel?) showing various couples sitting on large round cushions, drinking and watching a girl dancing to traditional Moroccan music dressed in scanty gold bikini-type costume and split black skirt with musicians playing behind her. C/Us of her dancing with lots of hip waggling and turns, then M/S as she dances in front of some guests at a table, then gets up and dances on one of the other tables. | |
