| Description: | Apple tree in yard. Little boy climbs over fence, climbs up tree and picks apple. Dog gives chase. Boy running past to rt. being chased by dog. He comes to a tree, jumps up and hangs onto branch; dog jumps after him and grabs boy's pants. Boy yells for help. Felix the Cat strolling along road, hears cry, turns & looks. He arrives on scene & leaps for dog. Felix and dog have a big fight (like a boxing match) while boy hangs from branch overhead. Felix finally hits dog over head w/ a stick, dog is KO'd. Boy comes down, invites Felix home to live. They go home, Felix is happy to have a real home but he comes flying back out, thrown out by father. "Scat! Get back to the garbage can where you belong!" Felix outside house hears father beating boy inside. He peeks in, sees dad yelling at boy "No cats in this house", etc. Felix paces outdoors, trying to think of an idea. | |
