| Description: | On the East river in New York, a freighter collides with a gasoline-laden harbor tanker, touching off a midnight holocaust. Flames rise some 150 feet to scorch the Manhattan ridge. Courageous and efficient rescue work saves all but 2 of 51 aboard the two ships. It's evening time and you see the spray of the water hoses and lights. MS - US Coast Guard boat.
