It has only been made possible by the ability and willingness of each side to appreciate the difficulties of the other. And I have every hope if we work to our mutual satisfaction." Ellis Arnall; " In behalf of the society of motion pictures producers I am delighted to join in the execution of this new film agreement. This accord evidences the fact that mutual benefits are to be derived through cooperation and through honorable agreement." Eric Johnston; "In this critical period this agreement to me is an example of what men can do if there's a sincere desire to reach an agreement in their mutual benefit. I wish that this might be a pattern of a larger field of international relationships.
