As soon as it happens they stop the water and start running to empty the hoses before rolling them up. Firemen finish stowing their hoses as quickly as possible and jump back aboard their engine. This is the firemen motor pump contest held at Southwark Bridge Road. A man, surrounded by several others, gives the award to the winners - Cannon Street Team.
