| Description: | WONDER OF THE WIRELESS TELEPHONE. London Fire Brigade in important experiments - establish connection with Headquarters from 'seat of fire' in less than 60 seconds. London As a fire truck pulls up (supposedly arriving at a fire) a fireman carrying a bunch of wire goes running to a lamppost and climbs up. M/S of a small fire truck speeding down a suburban street, the fire truck stops and the firemen unpack equipment from the boot. They are watched by a group of men, one is taking photographs - presumably they are journalists. Panning shot follows one fire officer as he runs down the street, he shins up a lamp post and fixes an electrical wire to it. M/S of a man in a bowler hat unravelling wire from the boot of the truck. C/U of a man in civilian clothes demonstrating how to use a radio installed in the boot of the truck as fire officers look on. Shots of men at HQ with headphones.
