A boat travels slowly towards the side of the river. It is a very simple craft - no cabin, just a wheel and a pump visible on the top deck. Man on deck throws a rope. The fire launch is tied up to the dock. The name plaque - 'Merryweather. London' - can be read on its stern. The boat is attached to a crane and is lifted out of the water. It turns as it is lifted. The boat is lowered onto the trailer of a large truck. The truck (from M.R.S. Ltd.) drives out between two buildings carrying the boat on its trailer. A man is standing on the rear of the trailer turning a wheel to assist in the steering. | |
