| Description: | Disasters. Major fire somewhere in USA burns down residential neighborhood. Dramatic film. Opens with aerial shot panning over city; with smoke billowing into the sky from a large area in BG. Pan across neighborhood in panic: the nearest houses not yet on fire but some in very near distance are totally burned up and the flames are still raging. People in FG moving away from fire; some soldiers. Then a shot of more people on another street a short distance from the fire -- pan across on people (African-American /black) moving furniture outside trying to salvage something from the fire. On down the street a man is fighting fire with hose. Pan on street after fire; ruins; charred trees; parts of walls standing. Shot of some men by a wall of a 2-story house that is standing alone -- they are pushing with poles; trying to push it over. Shot of one man by the wall; doing one final thing that causes it to collapse; falling bricks; sending up a lot of smoke. The man runs. Scene ends with the man by some trees; looking back. Destruction; fear; crisis | |
