Description:04:00:44:- MS of the seminar's proctor-- an ultra-non-charismatic woman in a red dress-- spouting a New Age-ish, believe-in-yourself brand of self embetterment to several male and female adults. Conquering fear, overcoming the things holding you back. The participants hold wood boards which they are to break with their hands. CU's of this. Much applause after each break.

04:05:18:- MS's of the firepit, its embers the only light in the early summer evening. The proctor and her assistant-- a tall, lanky man with a simmering smile and a prominent lisp-- hand out drums and percussion to the barefoot gathered. She leads them into a tribal chant, prepping them for the impending firewalk. Mike Lukas, TV host and comedian, aptly plays the clave as they meander to the fire. Some stoke it with rakes while the others sing, drum and chant in a circle around the fire. MS's and CU's of the embers, the fire, Mike being smug, the proctor, their bare feet, etc.

04:13:02:- CU's of people walking barefoot over the coals. Some walk slowly, with precision, while others step quickly and gingerly. Even Mike does the firewalk. The whole time this is occurring the griup chants and circles the fire, egging and cheering one another.

04:17:00:- High angle CU as Mike lifts his feet to show the camera and and all burns or scarring (none, just a sooty, caloused mess. Tilt up to MS of Mike, says, "Still hurts. Ow" then smiles and continues the clave. Cut to MS of the fire being stoked, the chant starting again, people firewalking. CU's of the fire and the firewalking. Cut to good low angle shot of the embers, the circle passing by in BG.

04:19:19:- MS of the proctor inaudibly talking to the still group, still by the fire. The assistant wanders nearby, seeming to be prepping himself for yet another carnie stunt being passed off as spiritual awakening. Zoom out to tight LS as, lo and behold, the man walks across the fire while somone throws a cup of gasoline onto the embers. A mad rush of flames. He walks through it and into delighted applause. Where did she find this guy? A nice stunt nonetheless. CU of the resurgent fire. MS's of people walking over the flames again, sometimes in pairs. CU's as well.

04:24:10:- CU's of a sign, reads, "Fire Lane, No Parking". Cut to MS of Mike talking to the camera, showing alleged burn blisters on the sole of his feet. Zoom in to CU's of the "blisters".

04:26:37:- MS's and CU's of the participants hoilding release forms and stating their names into the camera so the editors can match them later. Ends with the proctor, Judith Caseese.

04:28:16:- MS of Judith and Mike sitting in a quiet, fancy room and talking about firewalking, what she does for a living (you're looking at it), why people want to do the firewalk, why she got into it, and so on.
