The plane is Imperial Airways (London)'s Handley Page HP 42W, baring the designation G-AAXE 'Hengist.' A man introduces the Post Master General, Sir Kingsley Wood, who is to present the first air mail pennant to Sir Eric Geddes. Lady Wood and Sir Kingsley are seated at the table. Sir Kingsley rises to speak and says it is a great honor to have a special pennant with Royal Crown and the words Royal Mail. He finishes his speech and Lady Wood presents Sir Eric Geddes with the pennant. He takes it and places it in the cockpit so that it sticks out above the fuselage. Shot of men loading mail.
