| Description: | FLAKE FANCIES New recipes for fancy biscuits. Demonstration showing how to make moulded biscuits filled with jam and chocolate. United Kingdom MCU woman breaking egg into bowl at table or counter; only her torso is seen; also on table are sugar and salt tins, more eggs, a wire whisk, cups, etc. Next she adds flour, then beats this together, adds sugar, salt, pours in milk from bottle. CU tilt down: woman stirring mixture in bowl. MS woman stands at kitchen table, still stirring; can see the various ingredients, a pot, a burner attached to a cord, and in BG a simple china cabinet and wooden chair. She puts pot on the burner. MCU tilt down: she dips a cookie mold on a stick into cooking oil in the pot, then dips mold into the batter, then back into the oil which starts to boil furiously. She holds it in the oil a while then takes it out and removes a fried cookie onto cooling rack. MCU she pours some sort of filling over several of these biscuits on the cooling rack; biscuits are in various shapes- -circles of hearts, stars, butterflies. MCU she spoons a dollop of jam into center of a biscuit. | |
