The underdog Michigan eleven starts rolling in the first quarter and takes the lead, 7 to 0. Michigan State doesn't get up to speed until the third quarter. Then the combination of Steve Judy and Sherman Lewis score and the game winds up in a tie - but a moral victory for underdog Michigan. Ann Arbor, Michigan Crowded stadium and a marching band on the football field, crowd stands up applauding. MS - The underdog Michigan team has the ball and Jack Clancy picks up seven yards. MS - No 17 was handed off the ball but it was picked up by the defense of the other team and they brought the carrier down. MS - The quarter back passes the ball to his receiver and he brings it home for a touchdown. MS - The quarterback gets off a pass it is caught and once again the receiver brings it home for a touchdown and the crowd goes crazy. MS - Michigan State passes the ball it is caught an ran a bit picking up 20 yards. MS - Another pass and it is caught for 10-yards. MS - Michigan and Michigan tie up the score 7 to 7. | |
