| Description: | Burt Bacharach offers some highly useful and practical hints to that tortured soul - the chef who wants to make a good impression at a cook-out. "Hello, this is armature chief Bert Bacharach and this is cook out time and its getting more and more popular all over the country. Here are some tips for outdoor cooking. 1. When you cook over charcoal as you may have noticed the bottoms of the pans get blackened and its hard to remove. Just do this before cooking, its very simple. Take a dampened cake of soap and rub it over the bottoms of the pans that your going to use. When your finished you can wipe it off with a tissue or a cloth. Its very easy and very simple. 2. When your heating water or soup in a pot. Take a little grease and rim the edge of the pot It will positively not boil over and put your fire out. Those are two good tips in outdoor cooking and remember them the next time your doing it. Here’s a quick tip for you fella dishwashers. Instead of using one cloth one rag to wash - use two - its safer, quicker and you wont drop the dishes and you'll be finished in half the time. That's all for this time. There will be another installment of "For Men Only" coming up. A lot of good tips, Watch for them. Will you? So long". | |
