New British 40 h.p. sledge-tractor, capable of towing 3 tons over glacier or snow field, tried out. To prevent freezing in radiator 40% methylated spirit is added. Finse, Norway M/S as a man pours the methylated spirit from a bucket into a jug next to the sledge-tractor, M/S as they pour it in. M/S of the sledge-tractor which has a seat at the back and a steering wheel, and runs on big caterpillar tracks. It has 'Stanpoint' written on the side. A man steers it over the snow as others walk alongside and people ski past. Various shots as the tractor pulls people along on sledges and skis in very snowy conditions. | |
