Fred Duprez plays character of man preparing an after-dinner speech. His wants to practice his speech but his wife is out so he decides to read it to the pretty young maid. The speech is about downtrodden men turning tables on domineering wives. Speech turns into comic monologue about women, in particular his wife's bad cooking. Maid gives wry glances to camera. Duprez finishes speech by proclaiming himself boss of the house. We then here wife's voice screech 'Frederick' off stage and Duprez sneaks off to avoid her. Maid laughs. | |
