| Description: | 'Now Pathe Pictorial has pleasure in presenting - Freddie BAMBERGER late of JACK HYLTON'S BAND - in "DIZZY FINGERS".' London. Pianist Freddie Bamberger sits a grand piano on a set dressed to look like a conservatory and plays 'Red Sails In The Sunset' on the piano. He stops and tells us there is an easier way of playing it, and proceeds to play the tune in a very elaborate (and uneasy!) manner. Then he plays it in a flowery style that he says his Granny likes, and a honky tonk or swing style to suit his younger brother. Freddie then plays the famous ballad 'Trees' with his left hand only - very clever. As well as the melody he does lots of twiddly stuff. Freddie puts his other hand in his pocket while he does this. | |
