| Description: | Pond with swans swimming on it. Three young boys go down to edge of pond with fishing nets and jam jars. One of the boys puts his net into the water, pulls it out and puts some newts eggs he had found into his jam jar. "Egg to tapdpole" C/U of the newt's egg attached to a water weed. The dark centre moves in the jelly. We see the tadpole grow through time lapse photography. Tadpole shape moves around in the egg. "Tadpole to newt" External gills grow beside its head. Twin tadpoles developing in one egg. Tadpoles break out of eggs into surrounding water. Newly hatched newt tadpole is transparent and fishlike in appearance.
